The Asia Pacific Stroke Association

Asia Pacific Stroke Association (APSA) is relatively a new association formed for
meeting and exchanging views among the experts of Asia Pacific region. APSA
constitution, rules and by laws have been framed and it has to be formally registered.

History of Asia Pacific Conference Against Stroke (APCAS)
The previous Asia Pacific Conference Against Stroke were respectively held in Hong
Kong 2004, Chiangmai, Thailand 2005, and Shanghai, China 2006 were highly
successful.
The 4th Asia Pacific Congress Against Stroke (APCAS 2007), held at New Delhi, India,
from March 29th - 31st and April, 1st, 2007 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
under the aegis of Asia Pacific Stroke Association, Indian Stroke Association and World
Stroke Organisation incorporating International Stroke Society & World Stroke
Federation and it was jointly organized by India, Pakistan, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka. The
4th Asia Pacific Congress Against Stroke (APCAS 2007) was held at a very
environmentally friendly Venue “India Habitat Centre”, New Delhi, India.

Stroke Society of the Philippines
